Why are reactions to sensible solutions to gender inequality and under-representation met with hostility or trivialised by sexist comments like yours.
Female politicians shouldn't be referred to as totty, Lynne as the Mp for Hornsey and Wood Green has not presented herself as a sex object (go to your local newsagents or online for that) but simply as the local representative in Parliament:
Physical attractiveness has no bearing on a female politician’s ability to carry out the job that she is required to do.

I agree with the Lib Dems drive to recruit more women. We should have more totty in politics - it makes it far more interesting.
