1. Chris has picked up two more high-profile supporters in the Liberal Democrat leadership race – former Party President Navnit Dholakia and Oxford West & Abingdon MP Evan Harris.
2. Chris has also pretty much swept the board with previously undecided Lib Dem bloggers – five out of the five who have since blogged about the Question Time debate say that he came off best, as did three pro-Clegg bloggers – but there’s not been any traffic the other way. Navnit Dholakia’s backing for Mr Huhne could be very important. He was a high profile President, and I think many members will know more about him than they will about a typical Liberal Democrat MP from another constituency.
I expect a fair bit of traffic the other way now, after the horror that was the leadership ‘debate’ on the Politics Show!
Still, least said soonest mended.
