Following the memoirs that have come out in the last few days there have been some very interesting comments from senior Labour people, leading me to think that Brown was in fact exasperated with the way that Blair was running things. If it was differences of style and personality, it nevertheless resulted in a profound disagreement, and Cherie&#039;s support of her husband suggests that she had no understanding of the situation, yet she is a senior lawyer.
