<p>It is disappointing that you use a speech on a serious subject to make cheap and dated partisan points like that.</p>

		<description>Can also say thanks for posting up your speeches - it&#039;s never quite the same on the page, but it&#039;s a good way to get a flavour of the fringe for those of us who aren&#039;t there!&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;I do have some discomfort about the LibDem approach to gay rights, however, some of which is relevant to your speech.  The LibDem gay rights manifesto - published in, I think, 2005 - promised support for an Equality Act which would prevent service providers from discriminating on the grounds of sexual orientation.  Yet when the Sexual Orientation Regulations came before Parliament last year, the party voted for a Bill which included some major concessions on that central promise (regarding B&amp;B providers, for example).  I&#039;m sorry for such a long post, but this has always troubled me, and I&#039;d be very grateful if you were able to respond.</description>
