Thought I'd continue with my mini-experiment with YouTube films - especially as plaster cast has not yet come off! - so here are my views on the staff sackings over Baby P:

    Yesterday's revelations about the other case involving Peter's mother's boyfriend explains a lot (but probably not all, as his name has not been released), and just underlines how difficult your task must have been. I always wondered why Privy Council rules had to apply, and now we know. Here's hoping they appoint you to the Privy Council soon.

    I think your point about the social worker at the end of the food chain was well made. She cannot be absolved but should not have to carry culpability for what is deeply systemic. A public inquiry surely. But will it happen?
