But for those who have close friends or family who do end their life in a hopsice - it is really clear how important such places are. Unbelievable that it is left to charity in this day and age. It was a real shock to the system - had no idea it was funded by the donations. Was so stressful but at least she died Saturday in a friendly caring environment.
