Hornsey Historical Society – Happy 40th

It was a real pleasure to be invited to the 40th Anniversary celebrations of the Hornsey Historical Society on Saturday.

What a huge turn out – demonstrating the high regard and affection with which the Society is held by local people. We are very lucky to have such a dedicated and committed group of people in our area ensuring that the context of our lives and our history is documented and recorded.

Long may the Society continue its hugely important work and a very Happy 40th – and many, many more.

Lynne, do you support this http://www.parliament.uk/edm/2010-11/1791 or not?

I know you hate being brought up on the Lib Dems support of the Tories attacks on disabled people and I know protocol means Minsters don’t normally put their names to EDM’s but you could if you really wanted too BUT THIS is a big issue and it would be more impressive if you used your own conscience rather than do as you are told then perhaps……just perhaps, you might get some form of personal credibility back.

    “your own conscience”

These are Lib Dems you’re talking about!
